Sycamore Lodge is a wonderful small house located in the picturesque grounds of the Estate. With its own private garden and its proximity to idyllic woods and the nature reserve, you’ll be forgiven for imagining yourself in an Enid Blyton novel.

With 2 spacious bedrooms sleeping up to 4 guests, there’s plenty of room here for a romantic relaxing country getaway or a peaceful walking holiday with friends. Walking and cycling routes certainly won’t be difficult to come across as you find yourself on the doorstep of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, and if you decide to bring your furry friends with you to enjoy the country air then don’t worry, we love pets and are a pet friendly holiday.

The estate also has a top-class wellness centre where you can book any number of wellness activities and sessions. With an excellent local pub within easy walking distance, you’ve got somewhere to take the load off with a few drinks after a long country walk through the Dales, too.

Grand Living Spaces

Located within the grounds of the Hall, the property features ample indoor and outdoor private access space. Modern kitchen with dining area, leading to a cosy living room with natural light streaming through sash windows. The living room offers comfortable seating and a wood burner to create a relaxing setting.

Luxurious Bedrooms

Two ground-floor double bedrooms, each convertible to twin beds if required, with a shared bathroom.

Leisure Suite

You will also have access to a number of wellness activities and sessions to attend at the Wellness Centre, which can be booked separately. Adult access includes use of the Pool, Sauna, Steam Room, Hydro Pool and PT Studio. Children can access Pool Suite on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Gardens

As part of your stay, you’ll have free, exclusive access to England’s largest rewilding estate. Why not try forest bathing, wild swimming, or woodland dining for an experience like no other. You can spend time together in nature, wandering ancient woodlands, cycling moorland trails, or enjoying picnics by the riverside.
