Woodlands is a stylish and spacious holiday home nestled in the heart of Bembridge on the Isle of Wight, offering an ideal coastal getaway for up to 12 guests. Spanning two floors, the house blends practical luxury with comfort, featuring four flexible bedrooms, including a master suite and a second bedroom that both open onto private garden-view balconies. Downstairs, guests can relax across generous living areas, from a bright lounge and snug with cosy woodburners to a well-equipped kitchen with a conservatory dining space that opens directly to the private terrace.

The highlight of the property is its expansive, mature garden, fully outfitted for relaxation and entertaining with a cedar-clad hot tub, coal BBQ, table tennis, and al fresco dining sets. Complete with modern conveniences like underfloor heating, high-speed Wi-Fi, an Xbox 360, family amenities, and pet-friendly policies, Woodlands offers a tranquil yet fun-filled base just moments from Bembridge's charming beaches, harbour, and local village life.

Woodlands is a much-loved family home on a quiet residential street in Bembridge, with our lovely neighbours right next door. We ask guests to keep outdoor noise low after 11pm, and the hot tub closes at 10.30pm. We're delighted to host families and groups of friends, but we're unable to accept stag or hen parties, or celebrations likely to run loud into the night. Thank you for helping us stay the good neighbours we've been for years.

Living Spaces

Living spaces at Woodlands are thoughtfully designed to offer both social, open areas and cosy corners to retreat to. At the heart of the home, the main living room provides a bright, welcoming sanctuary lined with comfortable seating, a classic woodburner, and direct access out to the lush garden. For formal gatherings there is the separate dining room which also opens up to the grounds to create an effortless indoor-outdoor flow during warmer months.

Adding exceptional versatility to the property, the study/snug serves as a dedicated entertainment lounge, equipped with a second woodburner, a large Smart TV, games console, and a double sofa bed.

Kitchen & Dining

Woodlands features a fully equipped kitchen with modern double ovens, an electric hob, two fridge/freezers, a dishwasher, and a convenient walk-in larder. The connected conservatory dining nook creates a bright, airy setting for casual meals, with bi-folding doors that open directly onto the private terrace for an effortless indoor-outdoor dining experience. The conservatory table seats up to 10 and the dining room 8, or 10 with the spare chairs, so there is room for the whole party to eat together.

Bedrooms & Bathrooms

Upstairs, four versatile bedrooms comfortably sleep eight, including a master suite and second king bedroom with a balcony overlooking the garden. Two flexible zip-and-link bedrooms convert between twin and super-king setups, while four additional guests can be accommodated using the snug’s sofa bed and requestable Z-beds.

Bathrooms are generously provided across both floors. The master en-suite offers a bath with shower overhead, alongside a main family bathroom with a separate bath and walk-in shower. A ground-floor utility room adds a second walk-in shower—perfect after beach days—complemented by separate cloakrooms on both levels.

Gardens & Outdoor Space

The expansive, mature garden at Woodlands is a private oasis designed for both relaxation and outdoor entertainment. Landscaped with vibrant herbaceous borders, a central lawn, and a peaceful ornamental pond, the grounds feature a private cedar-clad hot tub set against a timber backdrop beside the main terrace. Guests can enjoy al fresco dining using two dedicated patio tables with parasols and a coal BBQ, while the elevated balcony off the upper bedrooms offer serene views across the greenery.

Built with group fun in mind, the outdoor space comes fully equipped with table tennis, Giant Connect 4, and croquet. It provides an ideal setting for family gatherings and dog-friendly escapes, though guests with young children or pets should note that the garden includes an un-fenced 1-foot-deep pond and a boundary that is not fully secure.
