This beautifully designed seaside retreat has been carefully renovated by Birch Stays to host both smaller group stays in the Coach House (sleeping 7) and large group stays (sleeping up to 17 in total) in combination with adjoining stylish sister house, the Cottage.

Located on top of the hill overlooking Bull Bay, the Cottage has been designed and dressed to provide a high level of comfort and sociable living spaces to enjoy with family and friends. The external character of the property is complemented by contemporary interior design. The open living areas are flooded by natural light, and finished in warm natural textiles and patterns that provide a relaxing ambience for your stay.

The Cottage offers generously proportioned bedroom suites, with the flexibility to accommodate a variety of family and group sizes of up to 10 guests.

On Arrival
You are welcomed through a separate entrance lobby linked to a fully equipped utility room. This provides the perfect decamping area – with an adjoining WC/shower – to clean up after a busy day of holiday activities at the beach or elsewhere!

You then enter the main entertaining space, encompassing a large open lounge, kitchen and dining area. Direct access to the adjoining private decking gallery is provided by the sliding glass doors along one wall. Two full height windows line the south-west elevation of the house to make for a well-lit open spaces and ensures the perfect backdrop for relaxing nights.

Located off the main living area are a super-king bedroom and a double bedroom, with a large family bathroom adjoining. If required, Birch Stays can set up this double bedroom as a separate home office space.

Upstairs, the master super-king bedroom enjoys a stylish en-suite shower room, while dormer windows provide sweeping views over Bull Bay and the Irish Sea. Across the landing there is a comfortable and bright 4-bunk bedroom and a hidden kids den. Alternatively, this bedroom can sleep up to 3 adults who may not need the kids den!

The Grounds
Accessed through the sliding glass doors from the main living space, you reach the private decking gallery with paved area below, both overlooking Bull Bay. Equipped with hot tub, outdoor mood lighting, dining table and BBQ, the decking area forms the ideal relaxing point for those long summer nights.

The original local limestone wall separates the top lawned area of the garden from the lower planted area.

Kitchen
The Cottage kitchen is fully equipped with large oven, large fridge-freezer, microwave and dishwasher, with an adjoining larder cupboard. As the house is crafted for large family gatherings or get-together with friends, there are also pots and pans large enough for lobster and roast dinners alike!

Utility Room
A spacious area housing washing machine, tumble dryer, hoover, iron/ironing board and ‘Dutch Maid’ system for hanging clothes, together with a separate drinks fridge.

More Space Needed – the Cottage + Coach House Combination
Within the same private grounds, the Cottage is sited next door to its sister house, the Coach House, comfortably accommodating up to 7 guests and 7-8 guests, respectively. Depending on availability, this provides even more scope for wonderful family gatherings or group holidays. The Birch Stays brand is identifiable across both properties with a wealth of modern features and facilities.

Bull Bay
Located in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), this seaside retreat boasts stunning coastal walks, attractive local pubs, and a championship golf course, to add further interest to the beauty of the surrounding countryside.

Located on the northeastern tip of Anglesey, Bull Bay is an excellent base from which to explore the island and, in particular, the nearby seaside villages of Cemaes Bay and Benllech. Fascinating heritage walks can also be taken around the old Copper Mine workings that overlook the Bay.

More small bays, coves and inlets are dotted around the surrounding coastline, with secluded beaches for picnics and seaside activities, including dolphin watching.

Try a walk westward to Cemaes Bay where some lovely sandy beaches are located; you can dip your toes in the sea before having a wander around the pretty village of Cemaes where the local fish and chips are well worth a try!

In addition to beguiling country walks, an array of water sports is hosted from the bay that is 5-minute walk away from The Pines.

Located on the Northern tip of Anglesey, Bull Bay is an excellent base to explore the island and in particular the nearby seaside resorts of Cemaes Bay and Benllech. Stunning heritage walks can be had in the Old Copper Mines that overlook the bay.

Bays, inlets and coves surround the village, with many hidden beaches for a day’s activities or sea life watching. The bay and further afield is very appealing to fishermen and paddleboarders alike, and great for spotting seals and the odd dolphin. It is a magical place to explore, swim, rock pool, fish, and generally potter on the shoreline.

Walk westward to Cemaes where you can find some lovely sandy beaches to walk on, or stop and dip your toes in the sea before having a wander around the pretty village, and sampling the local fish and chips
