The estate currently includes accommodation for up to 20 guests (29 from Spring 2026), wellness facilities, workshop and event spaces for 25–50 guests. It’s designed for corporate away days, health, wellbeing and leadership retreats, team-building workshops and luxury family holidays where groups need a self-contained base with indoor meeting areas/ event space and outdoor areas to reset.

Shared facilities include private dining, a wellness treatment room, the Heartwood Sauna, river access for wild swimming, a fire pit, a wood-fired Argentinian grill, EV charging, walking trails, a three-acre conservation area and on-site event venues including the Grain Loft and The Piggeries.

Exclusive hire includes two accommodation properties – Mill House and Hay Barn – each sleeping 10 guests with design-led interiors, 9 en-suite bedrooms and generous living spaces. The homes are a short walk apart within the private valley, allowing larger groups to stay together while giving each one their own base.

 

Mill House – Historic Grain Mill Conversion

Mill House is a restored 260-year-old grain mill that still features its original cogs and grinding stones, bringing a sense of heritage to a practical modern space. Sitting at the heart of the estate, it includes five en-suite bedrooms, a fully equipped handmade kitchen and two living areas centred around a double-sided wood-burning stove. A covered walkway leads directly to The Piggeries, giving groups their own private dining area, bar and treatment room for dinners, wellness sessions or evening events. Outside, the house has an arbour, fire pit, the Heartwood Sauna, an outdoor shower, river steps for wild swimming and access to a three-acre conservation area with private walking trails. Mill House works well for executive retreats, creative strategy sessions and senior leadership meetings.

Hay Barn is a contemporary oak-framed property with elevated views across meadow fields, the river and the surrounding Welsh hills. It’s the second accommodation house on the estate and includes five king bedrooms (three on the ground floor and two upstairs), along with an open-plan kitchen, and a dining and living space with a wood-burning stove. Full-height picture windows overlook the gravel garden and stone terrace, creating bright breakout spots for reading, meetings or downtime. The barn’s design blends Welsh materials with modern finishes, making it well suited for departmental workshops, innovation retreats and team off-sites needing room to focus.

Its adaptable design, combined with universal facilities including state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment, high-speed Wi-Fi, and modular furniture, ensures it can seamlessly host any type of event, whether a yoga and mindfulness retreat, a corporate strategy offsite, an artistic workshop, or a private dinner party.

A dedicated treatment room offers serenity for massages or quiet reflection, with soft towels and massage table (book private therapists as needed).
